Celebrity mixologist Darryl Robinson was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment early Wednesday morning, according to police. He was 50.
The Cooking Channel's "Drink Up" star was reportedly found just after midnight when a concerned friend couldn't reach him and contacted authorities. There were no signs of trauma on his body and his death is currently under investigation.
"At learning of this morning's sad news, our thoughts go out to Darryl's family and friends," said a Cooking Channel spokeswoman.
Andrew Mellen, an organizer of The Experts Collective in which Robinson was a member, told the NY Daily News: "We had a meeting just two weeks ago here in my apartment. He was in great shape. He was his usual, kind, energetic and lovely self."
In addition to "Drink Up," Robinson made appearances on "The Wendy Williams Show," "Access Hollywood," VH1's "Morning Buzz" and more.
A medical examiner will determine the cause of death in the coming days.
