Theo wants to join his classmates on an archaeological dig in Egypt. However, he doesn't believe that his parents will give him the $1500 he needs for the trip. He spent all of his money repairing the damage caused by his unauthorized party and paying parking tickets. Howard and Lou try to convince the Huxtables that the trip will have a good influence on Theo and help him improve as a student. Cliff and Clair agree to consider the idea, but ask to talk to his professor so that they can learn more of the details. Professor Grayson eagerly agrees to this. During a discussion of the diverse ethnic backgrounds of the Egyptians, she encourages the students to guess her own heritage. Theo, Howard and Lou try to get Cliff to make a guess during the get-together with the professor. He fails miserably, even after she gives him several hints. Cliff and Clair agree to let Theo take the trip. Meanwhile, Clair tries to warn Kenny of the possible consequences of constantly repeating his brother's sexist opinions. However, he later gets into another war of words with Rudy.

The ROSA PARKS STORY: RIDE TO FREEDOM

Angela Bassett stars in the story that sparked the birth of the modern civil rights movement in the late 1950s. Parks took the only available seat in the first row of the "colored" section on a city bus; when a white woman boarded and the driver demanded that the black riders in her row move, everyone complied except Parks. This singular event threw Parks and her family into the Ku Klux Klan's ring of hatred -- and into the NAACP's limelight.

TALK TO ME

The true life story of Ralph Waldo "Petey" Greene Jr. In the mid-to-late 1960s, in Washington, D.C., vibrant soul music and exploding social consciousness were combining to unique and powerful effect. It was the place and time for Petey to fully express himself - sometimes to outrageous effect - and "tell it like it is." With the support of his irrepressible and tempestuous girlfriend Vernell, the newly minted ex-con talks his way into an on-air radio gig. He forges a friendship and a partnership with fellow prison inmate Milo's brother Dewey Hughes. From the first wild morning on the air, Petey relies on the more straight-laced Dewey to run interference at WOL-AM, where Dewey is the program director. At the station, Petey becomes an iconic radio personality, surpassing even the established popularity of his fellow disc jockeys, Nighthawk and Sunny Jim. Combining biting humor with social commentary, Petey openly courts controversy for station owner E.G. Sonderling. Petey was determined to make not just himself but his community heard during an exciting and turbulent period in American history. As Petey's voice, humor, and spirit surge across the airwaves with the vitality of the era, listeners tune in to hear not only incredible music but also a man speaking directly to them about race and power in America like few people ever have. Through the years, Petey's "The truth just is" style --- on - and off-air - would redefine both Petey and Dewey, and empower each to become the man he would most like to be.
