The South Central, LA native, broke into the entertainment business as a teenage dancer on the iconic dance show Soul Train. There, he became great friends with now veteran actress Rosie Perez, who later hired Thomas as her assistance choreographer on the sketch comedy show In Living Color. With encouragement from the Wayans brothers, Thomas began his stand-up career, appearing on stages around the world and eventually writing and acting for a slew of hit TV sitcoms such as The Fresh Prince and Jamie Foxx Show, respectively. He also starred in film favorites BAPS and The Players Club, alongside Mr.Box Office co-star Bill Bellamy.
