Rebecca Lee Perry is an independent writer, director and producer. Though a Texas native, Rebecca has lived mostly along the East Coast. Moreover, through experiences gathered during childhood relocations, she has created a perception of life that can best be told through the lens. She has longingly strived to find the emotionally compelling moments of life to explore in filmmaking. As far as storytelling, Rebecca is always attracted to the through line of the human spirit that thrives in all racial backgrounds. She hopes through filmmaking to establish solidarities between ethnicities and eradicate bigotry, prejudice and stereotypes. Rebecca graduated from Roanoke College with a B.A. in English.

She is currently finishing her M.F.A. in Film at Columbia University.
