Rebecca Lee Perry is an independent writer, director and producer. Though a Texas native, Rebecca has lived mostly along the East Coast. Moreover, through experiences gathered during childhood relocations, she has created a perception of life that can best be told through the lens.

Fay Hauser-Price is a published songwriter, a poet, wife and mother. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Psychology and Dramatic Arts, as well as a member of the DGA Women’s and African American Steering Committees.

Barbara E. Allen

Allen broke PBS pledge records with her 2010 documentary on the history of African-Americans in Chicago, DUSABLE TO OBAMA:CHICAGO’S BLACK METROPOLIS. The show’s local debut raised over $225,000 and garnered 2500 new members.

Evita Castine

Evita M. Castine is a writer, director, actress, and producer. She won an Emmy fresh out of college for producing a series of public service announcements for Teens at Louisville’s Fox 41.

Ricky Horne Jr.

Horne is a native of Bakersfield, CA and graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA. Since graduation he has worked continuously in the film industry, acting, writing and now directing.

Camille DeBose

Camille is part of a new generation of filmmakers being inspired by and trained in Chicago. She is currently finishing an MFA in Digital Cinema at DePaul University.

Camille Brown graduated from UCLA’s prestigious Film and Television school. She made her directorial debut in 2000 with her award-winning documentary “A Second Chance At Life,” narrated by Whoopi Goldberg.

Ohene Cornelius

Ohene Cornelius has directed numerous music videos and has even produced a few. He is looking to do more acting and directing in the near future.

David Wendell Boykins

David Wendell Boykins graduated from the Los Angeles Film School where he studied directing, cinematography and producing. His thesis project, Prime of Life, has been featured at the Roxbury Film Festival in Boston MA, the 1st Annual Fresh Cut Review and the Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center 15th Annual Film Festival. Currently, Boykins is submitting his latest short film, Concrete River, to various film festivals around the country.

Jillian Reeves de Ortiz

Jillian Reeves (writer, producer) a South Carolina native–by way of Chicago-makes her filmmaking debut with the short film "Hope Reigns."

Kena Tangi Dorsey

Kena Tangi Dorsey was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA where she attended the Pittsburgh High School for Creative and Performing Arts. Later, she attended Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a BFA in Drama. Immediately, after graduating she moved to New York City to work in the Theater.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Gina Atwater is a writer/director attending Columbia University’s School of the Arts, Film Division.

Rashaad Ernesto Green

Starting his career as an actor, Bronx native Rashaad Ernesto Green received his BA from Dartmouth College, MFA from the NYU Graduate Acting Program, and MFA from NYU's Graduate Film Program, where he was a Dean's Fellowship recipient.
