Robinson, who was born in Detroit, Michigan, and is a graduate of Detroit's famous Cass Technical High School. That school also produced Diana Ross, Lily Tomlin, Kenya Moore, Carole Gist and David Alan Grier. She later went south to Atlanta, GA were she attended and graduated from Spelman College. |

Prince-Bythewood obtained her first feature film producer credit in 2003 on BIKER BOYZ, a Dreamworks film which was co-written and directed by her husband, Reggie Rock Bythewood. |

Akil began her writing career on Fox's critically acclaimed "South Central." She later moved on to writing for the UPN series "Moesha," where she earned her Producer title after four seasons. |
