Tamara is the one-of-a-kind VP of Ad Sales.  She's over-the-top drama - all glamour and air kisses -- she speaks fluent French, and the very best wine isn't good enough for her.  She imposes high expectations on everyone and automatically asks her dates if they're sending a town car for her.  She's a real character and a terrible name-dropper too.

Tamara has enjoyed a successful career in publishing-primarily in advertising sales, brand strategy, and marketing for over twenty years. At HOUSTON magazine, A MODERN LUXURY PUBLICATION, Tamara closed $880K in advertising pages during the magazine's launch year from luxury goods advertisers and the luxury real estate market. Her client list includes Randall Davis Company, The Hanover Company, Zadok Jewelers, Neiman Marcus, Baccarat, and the Houstonian Hotel, Spa & Club to name a few. She also re-launched several publications including ENDEAVOUR LIFESTYLES AND ICON magazine.

At ICON, Tamara re-positioned the magazine's format and distribution strategy to drive readership and ad dollars. As a result, Tamara closed ad pages for a "revamped" ICON from advertising clients who never before considered ad placement in the publication. A critical factor in Ms. Brock's success is the ability to create brand loyalty among key clients through the implementation of event marketing and effective cross-promotional platforms that add value to new and existing advertising/pr/marketing campaigns.

Ms. Brock has called Houston "home" since 1990- she is originally from Long Island, NY, and holds a B.A. Degree in Communications from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany. She is a former television announcer for the New York State Lottery and has one son.
