About the Show
Stand back "Saturday Night Live" and make way for sketch comedic genius. "In Living Color" was created by Keenen Ivory Wayans and premiered in April 1990 on Fox. A predominatedly black comedy ensemble brings all the laughs an audience can take within a 30 minute segment. The remarkable cast includes Keenen Ivory Wayans, his siblings Damon and Kim,Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier, Kelly Coffield, Jamie Foxx, James Carrey, now better known as Jim, and the show's "Fly Girls" choreographed by Rosie Perez. "In Living Color" earned instant credibility through satires of music videos, news, impersonations and actual real life experiences. You name it, they made fun of it! There was no subject untouched by "In Living Color."
