The actress shares an honest account of the struggles with mental health.

From The Bottom Up returns for another season and with it some familiar faces. Kim Smedley, Christine Beatty, Chrystale Wilson, Stacii Jae Johnson, and Sara Stokes will be back to share more of their challenges and struggles in their attempts to come back from their personal "rock bottom". But there are some new journeys to follow...

Joining the lineup this season will be actress Maia Campbell.  Best known for her role in the 1994 comedy-drama series South Central, Maia found herself at a low point in 2010 when she was arrested for theft and sent to a mental health facility. Now the actress is seeking to make amends with her daughter and work through her mental health issues.

Chanita Foster, wife of NFL superstar George Foster will also be joining the cast this season.

Campbell's story will certainly continue to shine a light on the importance of mental health awareness, but it'll be very interesting to see how Maia will be welcomed to the group.

Season two of From The Bottom Up premieres on Saturday, October 29 at 10P/9C on Centric!
