Straight from Another World, Jackée Harry planted her heels in the entertainment industry. A year after playing alongside Morgan Freeman, Harry captured the role of Sandra Clark on 227. Harry played a vixen always on the prowl and became the first African-American to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. You may recall her fabulous comedic timing as Lisa Landry in Sister, Sister. Harry now co-stars in Centric’s The First Family and has a recurring role on BET’s Let’s Stay Together as Bert Balsco’s TV mom, Delores Whitmore.
