The American actress is best known for her roles as Sandra Clark, the sexy neighbor on the TV series 227, and as Lisa Landry on the sitcom Sister, Sister. She is noted for being the first African American to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

Straight from Another World, Jackée Harry planted her heels in the entertainment industry. A year after playing alongside Morgan Freeman, Harry captured the role of Sandra Clark on 227. Harry played a vixen always on the prowl and became the first African-American to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. You may recall her fabulous comedic timing as Lisa Landry in Sister, Sister. Harry now co-stars in Centric’s The First Family and has a recurring role on BET’s Let’s Stay Together as Bert Balsco’s TV mom, Delores Whitmore.
