  • Toni Braxton opened up the show with a live version of her new single, “So Yesterday.”
  • The audience got a lovely surprise when Trey Songz joined Toni on stage and the two shared a few intimate moments.
  • Keri Hilson took the stage and performed three of her top hits: “Turnin’ Me On,” “Knock You Down” and “Slow Dance.”
  • During her performance, Ms. Keri Baby gives one dancer a slow dance he won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
  • Soul Train named Charlie Wilson a music Icon. Many artists, including Keith Sweat, performed their favorite Gap Band and Uncle Charlie hits.
  • Equipped with a sequin top hat and signature sunglasses, Bootsy Collins performed “Burn Rubber” with K-Ci and JoJo.
  • These two amazing singers joined the tribute by singing a Gap Band classic, “Yearning For Your Love.”
  • Stricken with emotion, Charlie Wilson hopped on stage and showed the audience exactly why he’s an Icon.
  • All the performers join the Icon on stage and continued the party, while the crowd joined in on the dance party.
  • Actor, host and now recording artist, Terrence Howard, gave the audience an acoustic performance from his new album, “Shine Through It.”
  • Terrence’s partner in crime, Taraji P. Henson, ran on stage to tell her hosting companion how much of a fan she is.
  • During the Motown Tribute, Taraji and friends gave their best rendition of the Supremes performing their timeless hit, “Keeps Me Hanging.”
  • DeBarge was in the house! Chico DeBarge sang his siblings' classic Motown hit, “I Like It.”
  • Newcomers Estelle and Vita joined the Motown tribute and combined forces on the song, “Get Ready,” by Smokey Robinson.
  • The greatest band of the '90s, Boyz II Men, showed Soul Train they have not lost a step.
  • Mario made the ladies in the crowd love him with his 2009 single, “Break Up,” featuring Sean Garrett.
  • The Chaka Khan Tribute featured some of the best performances of the night. Chaka was honored by Erykah Badu, Ledisi, Fantasia, and Angie Stone.
