Former NFL wide receiver James Hardy reportedly injured three police officers in a scuffle this past weekend in Los Angeles, according to media reports.
On Sunday, law enforcement sources say police were called to an apartment complex in downtown L.A. after complaints of a disturbance. Hardy, 28, was said to be uncooperative which led to a scuffle that left at least three officers injured.
TMZ reports officers used a Taser on Hardy in an effort to subdue the former football player. He was then transported to a local hospital and later charged with obstruction of justice.
Hardy was held on $20,000 bail.
Sources allege Hardy was under the influence at the time of the incident.
Hardy has played for the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.
