Former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson was arrested early Monday morning (April 21) on allegations of domestic violence, reports TMZ.
The 41-year-old star was picked up at his Calabasas, CA home following a fight with his girlfriend that allegedly got physical. Johnson reportedly broke her phone, leaving a gash on her hand.
He was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic battery and later released on $20,000 bail.
As the first pick in the 1996 NFL Draft, Johnson played 11 seasons in the league. The three-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champ suited up for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers before retiring in 2007.
