President Obama also talks matching tattoos with Sasha and Malia

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are not so accepting of their daughters Sasha and Malia getting tattoos when they’re of age.

In an interview that will broadcast on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, the president said he has vowed to get a matching tattoo with his daughters if they ever got one. By making this vow he hopes it will remove the cool factor of inking their bodies forever.

“We will reduce the cool factor of any tattoo,” the president says in the video. "Michelle and I will be right there and we’ll post it so that everybody will be able to see it and we’ll say we all got matching tattoos. I suspect that would be a pretty good deterrent for both Malia and Sasha."

He even invited Ellen DeGeneres to join the pledge, but the talk show host made it very clear she’s not fond of tattoos.

And what about DeGeneres' Ocars selfie seen 'round the world that beat out the president's record for most retweeted tweet?

“'I heard about that. I thought it was a pretty cheap stunt myself," he joked. "Getting a bunch of celebrities in the background.”

He also admitted to watching “House of Cards” starring Kevin Spacey and Michelle Obama having seen “Scandal” starring Kerry Washington.

“You know, I watch House of Cards. I haven’t seen Scandal yet, but Michelle has watched Scandal. I have to tell ya, life in Washington is a little more boring than displayed on the screen.”

Meanwhile FLOTUS arrived in Beijing, China this morning for a week-long trip where the First Lady will promote education and cultural ties. Her daughters and mother accompanied her on the trip.
