The NBA star is looking to bring a soccer team to Miami

LeBron James has been handling his business on the hardwood, but is masterfully juggling a handful of projects off the court as well. And in his latest venture, the 28-year-old NBA MVP might be dabbling in an entirely different sport.

According to media reports, James is in "preliminary talks" with David Beckham to bring a Major League Soccer team to Miami. The superstar athletes have reportedly become good friends in recent years and James has taken a liking to the sport.

In 2011, he signed with Fenway Sports Management and obtained a small piece of Liverpool FC-- one of the world's most famous soccer teams-- as a part of the deal.

Beckham scouted several Miami locations last week, but will need league approval when he is ready to launch the expansion team.

In a matter of months, James has locked down a sitcom, a partnership with Audemars Piguet and continued with his monster collaboration with Samsung. King moves.
