Ashanti's Got A Stalker On Her Hands

A 35-year-old man is pleading not guilty to stalking and other charges in a case involving R&B songstress Ashanti, according to New York court documents.

Devar Hurd is accused of sending explicit tweets to the Grammy Award winner despite being told not to contact her. He claims Ashanti's family "doesn't care" about the no-contact orders filed against him and has admitted to sending the inappropriate messages.

This isn't her first run-in with Hurd. In 2010, he was sentenced to two years in jail after being convicted of sending lewd text messages about Ashanti to her mother.

Hurd was rearrested last month for is most recent behavior.

Ashanti has yet to speak on the matter.
