Nneka Brown starts small business to produce pro-Black notebooks, gives teenage schoolboys jobs in the process

A very creative mommy entreprenuer is making waves over her line of Black Lives Matter school supplies, and she's on a mission to bring her products to a classroom near you.

Nneka Brown, 27, who's an army veteran and college student, says she decided to create her unique line of notebooks because she wanted to give youth something to "spice up" their school year with something they could relate to.

Though Brown only intended to sell 200 products, thanks to an outpouring of eager customers she now has the tall task of making and shipping 8,500 notebooks.

Even better, Brown says her employees consists of six teenagers who are in school themselves, and are assembling the notebooks by hand.

Now Brown is on a mission to raise enough funds in order to purchase the necessary technology to spiral 450 notebooks within an hour.

To help make her goal a reality, she's launched a GoFundMe page with a goal of $25,000.

"If these machines were available for our use, we could open back up our website and meet the high demand from all of our customers. You assistance is greatly appreciated," Brown wrote.
