A few hurtful jabs about her size led Egypt Ufele to become a young entrepreneur

Kids bullying kids is sadly nothing new. But one fifth grade student isn't allowing the harsh words of her peers to bring her down.

Egypt "Ify" Ufele, 10, has admittedly been bullied for her heavier frame. However, she used the taunts as fuel to create and launch her own fashion line Chubiiline

"I was bullied, and they called me all kinds of names," she told NBC.

With the help of her grandmother, Ify began to design clothes and sew them, creating clothing for the types of bodies you don't often see on runways.

This season she made her debut at New York Fashion Week showing plus size styles showcasing traditional Ankara prints.

"I turned from negative attention into positive attention," she says.
