MC Lyte, Faith Evans, Ledisi and other celebs are teaming up to empower women on building wealth, and closing the socio-economic gap between women of color and their white counterparts.
Hosted by MC Lyte’s Hip Hop Sisters Foundation and Prudential, the “W.E.A.L.T.H. Experience” will serve as a three-day retreat in South Beach, Florida, where business-oriented sistas come together to network, share resources and master personal and financial goals through helpful workshops.
The retreat will gather “like-minded business partners and friends for goal reflection and spirit renewal through general sessions, workshops and themed events that teach women how to master their personal, business and financial objectives. The experience will leave attendees feeling rich with life changing strategies they will capture through their personal W.E.A.L.T.H. Journals."
The event will be led by celebrity financial coach and Hip Hop Sisters Foundation CEO Lynn Richardson, and will include attendees such as Kelly Price, Nicci Gilbert (Brownstone), Erica Campbell, Lil Mama and Cheryl “Salt” James (Salt-n-Pepa).
MC Lyte says she hopes the experience will foster a “spirit of community and solidarity among women around the world as we change the world together.”
