Diddy Enters The Tequila Market

The business mogul can add yet another bullet point to his résumé

Sean "Diddy" Combs has set up yet another deal-- just in time for the new year-- and he's dabbling in the liquor business once again.

Page Six reports the mogul has teamed with DeLeon Tequila, a high-end and award-winning tequila brand that was introduced to the US market in May 2009. This latest move follows behind Combs' heavy endorsement of Ciroc Vodka which turned the struggling brand into a $100 million franchise.

Combs will bring in 2014 in grand fashion; he and a slew of his famous friends will party it up at his mansion on Miami's Star Island as they down the tequila that sells from $140 to $825 a bottle.

Q-Tip and DJ Ramadus have been tapped to spin the records, while Pharrell Williams and surprise performer will keep the celebration going. Past guests of Diddy's New Year's Eve parties include Rihanna, Queen Latifah, Mariah Carey, Robin Thicke and others.
