This is Black Excellence at its finest.

Topping Forbes annual list of the most powerful celebrities is none other than media mogul Oprah Winfrey, who banked a cool $77 million from June 2012 to June 2013. While other notable names such as Lady Gaga (No. 2) and Steven Spielberg (No. 3) earned more dollars over the past year, Lady O is recognized as the queen because of her media presence and social networking dominance. And we're sure OWNing a network doesn't hurt.

A few names down on the list is Beyoncé at No. 4 with earnings totaling $53 million from a booming world tour, as well as multi-million dollar deals with Pepsi and fashion retailer H&M. Equally impressive is the singer's No. 1 ranking in television and radio exposure as the public awaits juicy tidbits about new music, her high-profile marriage with fellow Forbes list star Jay-Z (No. 32) and the happenings of little miss Blue Ivy.

Forbes assembles its list based on several factors that include annual earnings, media exposure, Internet presence, how they're viewed by the American public and marketability. Check out the rest of the list here!
