Sleeping in the buff has great health benefits, and can do wonders for your relationship, according to a survey conducted by Cotton USA. Turns out catching Z's in your birthday suit not only helps you sleep better, but it can bring you closer to your boo.
Skin-to-skin contact relaxes the body, can lower your blood pressure, decrease stress levels and ultimately make you happier.
But it gets better.
Sleeping naked with your partner may also cause you to fall deeper in love. A 2014 poll found that 57 percent of people who sleep naked reported feeling happy in their relationships, while only 48 percent who sleep in standard pajamas reported the same. You may also (naturally) experience an increase of sexual activity, which is great for your immune system and your sleep quality.
And just in case you needed any more reason to ditch the undies at night, going naked can also prevent yeast infections, as sleeping in underpants creates a warm, moist environment for such bacteria to live and thrive.
