'ATHH' Rule No. 72: Should You Hide Your Personals?

Life & Love | Camille Travis | 05/30/2014 | 01:00 PM EDT

The right love certainly has the power to let your guard down and find comfort in your mate, but is it best to keep some personals, well, personal? In an all-new episode of "According To Him + Her," we're opening up the medicine cabinet to explore which items (if any) would be best left hidden.

Whether you're married, in a long-term relationship or casually dating a person who frequents your home, it's likely that your partner will run into your personals every once in a while. From feminine products to hygiene items, your significant other is bound to stumble across a few things that should be reserved for the bathroom.

Keyword: bathroom.

If we're being mature about the situation, there's no need to be ashamed about tampons, pads, "creams" and such. You shouldn't feel obligated to lock your personals away in a secret safe to appease your partner. However, out of respect (and cleanliness), said items should not be strewn all over your home.

So please, utilize those bathroom drawers or the cabinet under your sink. No matter how deep you are in your relationship, it's best to keep some things where they rightfully belong.

Tune into an all-new episode of “
According To Him + Her,” airing Friday at 10 p.m. EST on Centric!
