Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon have apparently graduated from the engaged life to wedded bliss, according to a tweet sent out by the 20-year-old bride.
Whitney Houston's daughter announced Thursday (Jan. 9) that she and 24-year-old Gordon have made things official, showing off their wedding rings on Twitter and Instagram.
"@nickdgordon #HappilyMarried SO#Inlove if you didn't get it the first time that is," she wrote.
There has been no word on an official ceremony.
Despite resistance from much of the Houston family, the couple were engaged this past summer. Brown said her relationship with Gordon, a longtime family friend, would have been supported by Whitney because she assumed they would always begin dating.
"I'm tired of hearing people say, 'Eww your [sic] engaged to your brother' or if Whitney was still alive would we be together or would she approve of this?" she said last summer. "Let me clear up something, we aren't even real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. My mom never adopted him."
Brown added, "Mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.
Congratulations to the couple!
