Jada Pinkett Smith has the body of a goddess and any woman would kill to have it. Thankfully, the actress shares some of the secrets to how she maintains that oh so fabulous bod.
Smith gracefully covers the January/February issue of Shape Magazine rocking a killer orange swimsuit looking younger and badder than ever. At 43 and just 5 feet tall, the petite bombshell weighs 108 pounds. But as they say, large things come in small packages.
The mother of two (plus one stepson) says she never feels petite, which comes in handy when playing kickass roles like her current gig as a mob boss on the television show “Gotham.”
So what exactly does Pinkett Smith do to keep that trimmed and rock solid frame? The actress reveals she’s into sculpting these days. Rather than focusing on weights she sticks to reps (small and repetitious). She tells Shape that she dedicates hours in the gym, where she does double-duty without putting too much stress on her body. Her go-to is the walking stairs--a cardio workout that does wonders for toning your butt and legs.
As for her fitness motivation, Pinkett Smith says its the adoration of her husband, Will Smith.
"Well, I love when Will looks at me and says, 'You look so freaking good!' When my husband of almost 20 years can't take his eyes off of me? That's amazing.”
In her interview, Pinkett Smith also spills a little relationship advice. Aside from an active sex life, the beauty says she and her husband keep the romance alive by reading and discussing books about religion and spiritual expression.
“It’s a big turn-on for me to be spiritually and intellectually challenged by Will. To me, it’s like foreplay!”
Pinkett Smith spills more on her butt-lifting and tightening routine in the latest issue of Shape magazine, which hits newsstands Dec. 31.
