Deborah Cox is gearing up for her forthcoming sixth studio album Work of Art, with the release of the project's lead single "More Than I Knew."
Produced by Thadeuis Dixon, the song successfully showcases Cox's vocal prowess and further confirms her ability to tear up (yes, tear up) a ballad or mid-tempo tune.

Sonically the song will put die-hard Deb fans in the spirit of her early releases, but it doesn't feel like it was plucked from the cutting room floor of a One Wish session. It's indeed fresh.

"This song is classic me; lots of emotion about a scenario I believe a lot of women find themselves in," said Cox to Billboard.com.
"More Than I Knew" follows the "Kinda Miss You" a dance track released as a buzz single back in February.
Work of Art will be released on August 15.
