The Legendary Grammy-Award winning diva releases her new single "Nightlife"

Don't call it a comeback, Jody Watley has been here for years! The Grammy Award-winning entertainer has released her new single "Nightlife," marking her first official release in four years and a musical reunion with her former Shalamar groupmate Gerald Brown

Watley's vocals, paired with Brown's soulfully smooth tone, bounces perfectly over the hard-hitting disco-influenced dance track; but if you're expecting "I'm Looking For A New Love" or even "Take That To The Bank" 2.0, think again.

While the essence of "Nightlife" is classic Jody Watley, the song doesn't feel dated nor does it sound like her and Brown are aiming for a new generation Shalamar track.

The relevancy of this tune proves that Watley is a master class in how to keep a career in dance and R&B music going---Ciara, Keri Hilson, and Kelly Rowland take note.
