Black Women Empower On Centric's New Series 'The Round'

'The Round' premieres Saturday, Aug. 20 at 11 p.m. EST

Let the sistas rise!

This week Centric premieres its new series "The Round," which features empowering and enlightening talks from successful Black women who overcame, and have the major keys to a successful life.

Modeled after the popular TED Talks, "The Round"--filmed in the heart of Harlem--shines a spotlight on 10 women to encourage and instruct others on how to activate their own lives in dynamic, 8-minute talks.

Speakers include CNN political commentator Angela Rye; civil rights activist Tamika Mallory; motivational speaker and former reality star Bershan ShawVashti Murphy McKenzie, Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, among others.

The empowering series kicks off with media coach TeeJ Mercer and blogger Jodie Patterson this Saturday, Aug. 20 at 11 p.m. EST. Be sure to tune in--you don't want to miss it!
