'The Real' co-host is back on her feet just one month after landing in the hospital

Tamar Braxton is back to being a working woman just one month after doctors discovered she had a pulmonary embolism, a condition in which blood clots block the flow of blood to the lungs.

On Tuesday, the "Circles" singer revealed she was returning to "The Real" and thanked fans for their prayers.

"#superblessed today is my first day back on #Thereal thank you Jesus #tamartianfriends prayers work," she wrote on Instagram.

Braxton was initially hospitalized in November, forcing her to drop out of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" competition and cancel her tour dates with singer Kem. Just last week, the 38-year-old star landed back in the hospital for additional treatment.

Braxton's health update comes at a great time for the singer. Her single "If I Don't Have You" was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Performance.
