Apollo Nida will spend yet another Christmas behind bars, away from his two sons and estranged wife Phaedra Parks, but will be given the opportunity to see their smiling faces from a computer screen.
Parks tells "Entertainment Tonight" she is allowing their boys to speak with their father this holiday season via video chat.
"Well, it's sort of hard," Parks said. "Now we can do video chatting, so he is getting to see the children on video, so that's pretty good. We talk about the Christmas lists -- I'm not very big on a lot of toys, because I think Christmas isn't really about receiving, it's about giving.
"I don't want to raise spoiled brats, so I'm always wanting them to learn the true meaning of Christmas: Christ. [...] We're talking about, you know, how many toys are appropriate and what's too much."
Nida is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence for check fraud and money laundering.
While Parks has said the couple's divorce is "in process," it's nice to know she's still finding a way to co-parent with her estranged husband.
