DMX is a wanted man after missing a court date Monday in New York for his ongoing child support case with ex-wife Tashera Simmons.
According to Bossip, New York Supreme Court Judge Paul Marx has issued an arrest warrant for the rapper, who skipped the hearing that would address the issues of back child support. In October, DMX was arrested on a contempt of court warrant, but Marx let him go after the star said he needed to get back on the road to make money.
DMX assured the judge he would return for the next hearing.
But on Monday, a lawyer for DMX said the rapper was in Las Vegas to perform at "DMXmas" at the Foxtail Nightclub. He said his client mixed up his court dates, thinking the hearing was Dec. 15-- not Dec. 14.
The judge didn't exactly buy the story, stating that it would be "interesting to see if TSA picks him up on a warrant."
Outside of court, Simmons told reporters she just wanted DMX to own up to his responsibilities so they could move forward.
