Singer shares life update from a hospital bed

Tamar Braxton has returned back to the hospital less than one month after doctors discovered she had a pulmonary embolism, a condition in which blood clots block the flow of blood to the lungs.

On Friday, the 38-year-old singer updated fans with a video post on Instagram, revealing that she was back in the hospital, but would be returning to work soon.

"Hey everybody, I know everyone's been asking, 'When is she coming back to 'The Real?' I miss her on 'The Real.' Well I miss you guys too and I am coming back, but I had to come back here first," Braxton said while pointing the camera toward her hospital room.

"I just wanted to tell you guys I love you and I'll see you soon."

The video was later deleted, but picked up by several fan accounts.

Braxton's hospitalization in November led to her exit on "Dancing With The Stars" and the cancellation of several tour dates with Kem. Braxton has also been on a leave of absence from daytime talk show "The Real."
