Mariah Carey will be back on her feet in no time, as the singer is said to be "doing well" after being hospitalized Wednesday morning in New York City.
Carey was rushed to the hospital after falling ill with a severe case of the flu, TMZ reported. Sources said she began to feel sick before an appearance at a Pier 1 in SoHo Tuesday evening, but she managed to push through the event.
Carey was hospitalized the following morning and pumped with fluids and vitamins. Her team says the singer is doing much better and will continue on with her scheduled appearances.
"[Mariah] had been feeling under the weather with the flu over the past few days and was fighting it to the best of her abilities," a rep told PEOPLE. "She is doing well now and will be performing as scheduled this weekend. She thanks her lambs for the continued support and well wishes."
Carey will perform at Hot 97's "Hot for the Holidays" concert Saturday in New Jersey.
