There's never a dull moment when Erykah Badu is in the house.
The Soul Train Awards host visited Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" on Tuesday, where she gave a shout-out to the annual event for focusing on the importance of soul music.
"[Soul Train Awards 2015] had no rap on there this year because they wanted to focus on just soul. So, it was nothing 'on fleek,' no pants sagging ... only two tattoos per arm," she joked. "Nobody hit the Quan, no Nae Nae, no nothing."
Badu also spent the interview explaining how "Tyrone" came to be, her handling of Twitter trolls and her past romances with André 3000, The D.O.C., Common and Jay Electronica.
Trust us, it's well worth the listen. Press play on the interview below.
And don't miss Erykah Badu as she hosts Soul Train Awards 2015, airing this Sunday (Nov. 29) at 8 p.m. EST on Centric and BET.
