There's no question on where Porsha Williams' loved ones stand on her relationship with Buffalo Bills player Duke Williams. On Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," her friends and family said they believed she was moving too fast and were fearful that he would throw her off her game.
In a new interview with Bravo, Porsha is addressing a particularly interesting scene in which she threw him a going away party before the NFL season. Her sister, business partners and fellow "RHOA" castmates had plenty to say about the shindig and she is none too happy about their comments.
Here's what Porsha had to say.
On her business partners not being supportive of her relationship with Duke...
"You know what, I have to say I was surprised. Because again, I feel like when I'm in a relationship, I'm at my best. I've always said, once I get my business in order, everything is good. If your personal life is good and you have a solid support system at home, you can go conquer the world. So, I really didn’t understand what they were saying. I think they were coming from a place of what would happen if I break up with that individual, and that could possibly be true."
On folks gossiping on rumors about Duke...
"I was shocked as hell. Honestly, I didn't know all that gossiping was going on. Later when I found out, I was pissed. I was really upset because, as you can see, I put a lot into that freaking party. I felt like I had prepped everybody, I had pulled all my friends to the side and told everybody, 'This party's for Duke, I'm so excited. We're going to send him off, he’s going to go and kill it this season. I want him to feel love and support.' And later on when I see all this negative energy was in his party, I was really upset with each person, and I had to talk to each individual about how I felt."
Unfortunately, Porsha's friends and family might have been right about Duke not being "the one." Reports of the couple's split hit the web before "RHOA" premiered earlier this month and it seems Duke has already moved on.
