Lamar Odom isn't out of the woods in terms of his health or the legal drama stemming from his drug overdose last month in Nevada. Prosecutors are now considering bringing a felony drug charge against the former NBA star.
Nye County District Attorney Angela Bello confirmed Monday that the sheriff's office submitted the potential charge last week, reports Page Six. It is up to a prosecutor to decide if Odom will face one count of unlawful use of cocaine or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
As previously reported, the Nye County Sheriff's Department received the results of the blood tests that were drawn at a hospital in Las Vegas and confirmed that Odom tested positive for cocaine. Bello declined to go into further detail about the investigation.
Odom has been hospitalized since Oct. 13 after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada. He is currently receiving treatment at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
