Tamar Braxton is paying the price for not listening to her body. The singer, talk show host and "Dancing With The Stars" contestant was hospitalized Monday after falling ill.
Sources say Braxton had been battling pneumonia for two weeks, but has been going nonstop on the work front. While rehearsing for her performance on "DWTS" Monday night, insiders say she became extremely sick and was rushed to the hospital less than an hour before taping.
Braxton was able to make it back to the show 20 minutes before the end of the episode and survived another elimination. And her return came right on time. "DWTS" rules state a competitor must withdraw if he/she skips a performance (see: Kim Zolciak).
In a video package showing Braxton's rehearsal, she detailed her hectic schedule which likely played a part in her being temporarily sidelined.

"Monday through Wednesday I was at 'The Real.' Thursday I was in Vegas. Friday I came back to L.A. and had a concert with Kem," Braxton said. "Saturday I got on a plane and went to Orlando. Sunday I'm back here, doing my camera blocking."
Attention Tamar: rest. Just rest.
