Say what you want about the Kardashians, but even Oprah Winfrey can recognize the hard work the family has put in to succeed. On Monday, the media queen defended the famous clan on KIIS FM's "Kyle and Jackie O Show" in Australia.
"I interviewed the Kardashians two years ago and I can't believe how hard they work. People don't understand that, people think, Oh, if a television camera’s just following you, then that's just easy," she said, referring to her "Next Chapter" special with the family on OWN.
"To really create a reality series that looks like something's actually happening, it means you have to be on all the time."
Winfrey's comments were in response to a remark actress Rebel Wilson made earlier this month. She said she refused to present with Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the MTV Video Music Awards in August because she believed the family was famous for having no talent.
It seems Winfrey couldn't disagree more. She added: "I went to film them as a family and I couldn't believe how hard they worked. We were there for seven hours and they were gonna tape another seven hours after I left. No matter who you are, that is work."
Who knew the Kardashians had a supporter in Lady O?
