The claws are coming out in the lawsuit between former NFL star Kordell Stewart and viral sensation Andrew Caldwell.
As previously reported, Caldwell (best known for his testimony of being "delivert" from homosexuality) is being sued by Stewart for making false and defamatory claims on an Internet radio show about having an alleged relationship.
While Caldwell has since retracted and apologized for the statements, Stewart has moved forward with the lawsuit, claiming a loss of earnings, emotional distress and impairment to his reputation.
Meanwhile, Caldwell isn't worried one bit about the complaint.
"It's true, I never dated Kordell. But I'm not worried about the lawsuit," he told TMZ. "If Kordell wants money, he has money. I don't owe him a dime."
Interestingly enough, Caldwell took it a step further by saying he might take legal action himself.
"I may go after Kordell. Yes, I hurt his name, but he also hurt mine," he added.
Stewart is suing for an unspecified amount.
