The woman accusing Derrick Rose and his group of friends of rape is hoping for a big payday-- $21.5 million, to be exact.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show the woman has put a price on her alleged pain and suffering, as she is asking for $6 million in compensatory damages and $15.5 million in punitive damages.
As previously reported, the woman sued the Chicago Bulls star over claims that he and two of his friends-- Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton-- drugged and gang raped her in August 2013. She alleges she and Rose dated for two years, but she did not consent to sex on the day in question.
Rose and his legal team have since responded to the suit, calling the claims "outrageous" and "an attempt to shake down a highly respected and successful athlete." Rose maintains that the woman agreed to sexual relations with the co-defendants on the day in question and invited them to her apartment.
The case has been transferred to U.S. District Court and a scheduling conference is set for Nov. 9.
