Tuesday afternoon brought the news of Halle Berry's divorce to husband Olivier Martinez after just two years of marriage. Now, new details are emerging that suggest the split might not be as "amicable" as reported.
According to court documents, Berry is asking that neither party get spousal support and that they share the costs of raising their 2-year-old son, Maceo-Robert. The actress states that all of her earnings and assets are her property per their prenup.
However, Martinez is asking that the issues of spousal support be sorted out at a later date, which could suggest that a battle is brewing over the terms of their divorce.
Both are seeking joint custody of their son, but Berry has requested that Martinez provide transportation to and from visits and asks that he need permission to take Maceo out of California.
The couple's divorce filings flew under the radar as they both used an alias. Berry went as "Hal Maria" (Hal is short for Halle; Maria is the actress' middle name) and Martinez went as "Oliver Martin." They also listed their son as "Mac Martin."
