The results are in on Lamar Odom's blood tests and they've confirmed everyone's suspicions: cocaine played a major part in his near-death experience.
The Nye County Sheriff's Department has received the results of the blood tests that were drawn at a hospital in Las Vegas and have learned that Odom tested positive for cocaine. The former NBA star had been found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel on Oct. 13 after witnesses said he used the cocaine, as well as sexual-performance supplement pills.
The question now becomes whether or not Odom will be prosecuted for his drug use. A legal expert tells Hollywood Life that the evidence to charge is shaky, as law enforcement officers didn't physically see Odom ingest the cocaine or witness his conduct.
Odom continues to seek treatment at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Insiders say he's facing a rehabilitation period of at least six months.
