Khloé Kardashian, the estranged wife of Lamar Odom, is at odds with the owner of the Love Ranch brothel where the former NBA star was found unconscious earlier this week. The reality star has reportedly asked that he stop speaking with the media about inside details.
CBS News reports Kardashian's reps reached out to Dennis Hof on Wednesday, requesting that he not speak to the press and respect the family's privacy. Hof has dismissed Kardashian's demands and says he is in contact with the media to straighten out circulating reports.
"I know what happened," Hof said. "I'm the one protecting my business and telling the truth about it."
Hof has spoken to several media outlets, claiming Odom spent $75,000 for 24-hour-a-day companionship from two women. Odom checked into the Love Ranch last Saturday and reportedly used a credit card for a five-day "girlfriend experience," which included sex and activities like cooking, watching TV together and going out to dinner.
Hof says everything was "great" until Odom was found unconscious on Tuesday with a "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth." The athlete is said to be in critical condition at a Las Vegas hospital, although sources say his health continues to deteriorate.
Kardashian is making all medical decisions pertaining to Lamar's health, as the pair are still legally married. The reality star filed for divorce in December 2013, but the estranged couple didn't sign off on the papers until this past July and a judge has yet to finalize the divorce.
