The music exec is allegedly on a "warpath" against Rowland over her upcoming BET reality talent competition show 'Chasing Destiny'

Mathew Knowles is pissed...

The music manager and father of Beyonce Knowles is allegedly furious with his daughter's former bandmate Kelly Rowland over her upcoming BET reality talent competition Chasing Destiny.

He unsuccessfully pitched and shopped around the concept back in 2011, so sources are saying that he's crying foul and on a "warpath."

The Daily Mail writes:

He once considered her to be his own daughter, but now Beyoncé's estranged father - Mathew Knowles - is on warpath against Destiny's Child original member Kelly Rowland.

The former music industry power-player was served a harsh blow when BET Networks announced that Kelly will hold auditions for her new talent competition reality show – seeking singers and dancers to form a new group a la the best-selling super-group that made Kelly, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams international icons.

'Mathew Knowles hit the roof when he heard about the concept for the show, which he thinks is a direct rip-off of an unsuccessful attempt at a similar concept he tried to craft after his superstar daughter gave him the pink slip in 2011,' a source told Daily Mail Online exclusively.

'In the past, there was talk that a lot of the deals and opportunities that Mathew received for Kelly and Michelle were offered up to Beyoncé first and sometimes even Solange Knowles and Kelly and Michelle would lose out.

'Now that Kelly is looking out for herself, she could care less what Mathew thinks about her hosting this show,' said the source.

Chasing Destiny will premiere on BET in 2016.
