Bobbi Kristina Brown's family isn't loosening their grip on Nick Gordon as they demand answers in the death of the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. New court documents suggest her longtime boyfriend injected her with a "toxic mixture" which rendered her unconscious and he placed her in a bathtub.
The updated complaint includes a more detailed picture of what the family believes happened between Bobbi Kristina and Gordon in the hours leading up to her medical emergency on Jan. 31. They claim Bobbi Kristina "died following a particularly violent altercation with [Gordon] that left her battered and bruised, with a tooth knocked out..."
The family also believes Gordon should have no problem speaking to a court about his whereabouts on Jan. 30, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 (as well as other important details), as he granted an interview with Dr. Phil McGraw with no issue.
The claims come just days after Gordon issued his own response to the multi-million lawsuit filed against him from Bobbi Kristina's estate. He said he was being "publicly lynched" with allegations of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and transferring money from her account into his own without authorization.
Gordon is seeking a stay of civil proceedings to allow him to "defend his own freedom" and "salvage what is left of his character." He has denied all allegations and has never been formally charged.
Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Atlanta-area home on Jan. 31 and died July 26 after succumbing to her injuries.
The Fulton Country Medical Examiner has obtained Bobbi Kristina's autopsy results, but announced it would not be releasing the details due to a court order.
