It's hard out here for a broke actor, namely Terrence Howard.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the 46-year-old star admits his wife Mira Pak is the breadwinner of the family, as his "Empire" wages have been garnished by his ex-wife Michelle Ghent.
"You know, all my checks from Fox are being held for garnishment, because of my ex. I'm broke as can be," Howard explained. "But my wife, she did well for herself, so she's covered us. This place, she's renting it. I'm suffering. There's nothing worse than being a broke movie star."
Pak interjected, saying the couple were saving up to buy a house of their own in Winnetka, Illinois.
"The suburbs, as soon as they free up my money," he continued. "[...] It's always been a hard road for me. I run into bad luck. But I run into good luck too, so it's even-steven right now ... I've got a good wife."
A judge recently overturned Howard and Ghent's spousal support agreement, but ordered the former couple to renegotiate the terms of their divorce.
And as for reports of a third divorce, Howard has since debunked the rumors. He told Rolling Stone that Pak is his match.
"When you meet your one, it's completely balanced. I don't have any greater authority than she does, he said. "It's the only thing that really works."
