Plaintiff is suing the rapper for allegedly lifting show idea

50 Cent has one more problem to add to his plate with a lawsuit from a man who claims he lifted the idea for the hit Starz drama "Power."

TMZ reports Larry Johnson filed the suit, claiming he wrote a manuscript in 2005 titled "Tribulation of a Ghetto Kid" and sent it to Nikki Turner, who works for 50 Cent at G-Unit Books. While Johnson says the book was eventually published elsewhere, he believes Turner showed the manuscript to 50 Cent.

When "Power" debuted in 2014, Johnson says he couldn't help but notice the similarities. From TMZ:

"Johnson says it's a carbon copy of his manuscript. In his book, the primary character has a goatee ... ditto 'Ghost' in 'Power.' In fact, Johnson says he even uses the nickname 'Ghost' as his pen name.

And Johnson says in his manuscript the main character's best friend has a short fuse, just like Tommy in 'Power.'

In Johnson's manuscript the main character owns the hottest nightclub in Atlanta. In 'Power,' Ghost has the hottest club in NYC."

Johnson is asking for $200 million.
