Elba responds to writer Anthony Horowitz's controversial remarks

How's this for a response?

Idris Elba has come forward to address writer Anthony Horowitz's remarks on him being "too street" to play James Bond, a comment many believed was code for "too black." The Trigger Mortis author has since apologized for his poor word choice, but Elba couldn't let the controversy die without taking one last jab.

And a classy one at that.

"Always Keep Smiling!! It takes no energy and never hurts! Learned that from the Street!! #septemberstillloveyou," he wrote on Instagram next to a picture of an article on Horowitz.

Reason No. 576 why we love Idris.
