Nene Leakes might have left “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but it’s clear the drama is here to stay. TMZ reports Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams were recently involved in a scuffle and it could cost one of the women her airtime.
Sources say the ladies were on a boat in Atlanta when the two began arguing. Williams reportedly began calling Bailey a ‘bitch,’ which prompted Bailey to walk to the other side of the boat to defuse the situation.
Williams allegedly followed Bailey across the boat and got in her face to continue the argument. That’s when Bailey got physical and kicked Williams in the stomach. Sources say producers restrained Williams before she should react.
Williams was reportedly taken to the hospital where she was given pain medication. Insiders tell E! News she will not be pressing charges against Bailey, as "everyone just wants to put [the fight] behind them."
The entire event was caught on camera and network executives are said to be reviewing the footage to determine if any disciplinary action needs to be taken. If the footage proves to be too much, Bailey could run the risk of being demoted to “friend of the cast,” which would include a pay cut.
Déjà vu, perhaps? As you might recall, Williams had a restricted role during “RHOA’s” seventh season after getting into a fight with Kenya Moore during a reunion show taping.
In both situations producers say antagonizing is not an issue, but when cast members get physical, they must face the consequences.
