The thirst for a storyline on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is apparently real.
According to The Jasmine Brand, reported newbie Amiyah Scott has been faking her relationship for the cameras in hopes to bump up her chances of airtime. Scott, who would become "RHOA's" first transgender star, has reportedly been seeing Kellon Deryck and was spotted with him at Kenya Moore's haircare launch last week in Atlanta.
Sources say Scott is trying to become more appealing to producers, as she's not a housewife. Insiders claim Kellon is actually Scott's best friend, not her boyfriend, and the two have been trying to keep the nature of their relationship on the low.
This wouldn't be the first time a "housewife" has brought a phony relationship to the reality series. In 2012, Walter Jackson claimed Moore asked him to be on the series to act like her boyfriend. He said he agreed to do the show after his friends urged him to enjoy his 15 minutes of fame.
It still remains to be seen if Scott will make the show's final cut. Bravo has yet to announce an official line-up for "RHOA's" eighth season.
